Export As Specify how pages will be displayed online in web browser.
Pages Displays a single page at a time on browser
Spreads Displays two pages at a time in the web browser.
3 In the Advanced tab, enter the following information:
Choose Thumbnail Choose the cover for your published document. This thumbnail is displayed in Publish Preview
dialog with the title and description while uploading.
First Page Specify that the first page of the InDesign document is used as the cover thumbnail
Chosen Page Choose a page of the InDesign document to be used as the cover thumbnail
Choose Image Select an external image as the cover thumbnail
Image Settings Specify how the images of the documents are to be exported
Automatic **recommended** InDesign decides how the document images should be exported, keeping in
consideration performance optimization.
JPEG Convert all images to JPEG
GIF Convert all images to GIF
PNG Convert all images to PNG
Resolution Specify the output image resolution
Standard InDesign will optimize resolution of the images
HiDPi InDesign ensures high resolution of the images
Note: HiDPi images will significantly increase page loading time and the amount of data viewers must download.
JPEG Options When Image Format is set to JPEG, this option provides multiple options for image quality.
GIF Options When Image Format is set to GIF, this option provides multiple pallets for GIF rendering.
4 Click OK to publish the document online.
The Publish Online dialog box is displayed:
• The thumbnail, title, and description are displayed on the left side of the dialog box.
• The process is displayed in the right side.
5 In the Publish Online dialog box, click Cancel Upload to stop and rollback the upload process.
